Top 5 places you forget to clean

Toilet cleaning brush

How to clean: secure this around the rim of the toilet bowl and spray with either The Pink Stuff or any generic bleach. Allow this to settle in for five minutes then wash out (you can flush the toilet to do so). Now allow this to air dry by securing to the toilet bowl as before.

Kitchen sponge

How to clean: soak in hot soapy water, ring it out then allow it to air dry.

Oven extractor fans

How to clean: ideally you would want to steam clean these surfaces, however, this is best left to the professionals!  Spray Grease Maximum Oven Cleaner and allow it to rest for a couple of minutes before wiping away.

Behind your toilet

How to clean: there is no other way than getting on your hands and knees for this one!

Underneath appliances – the microwave, fridges, oven etc

Best products to clean with:

  • Glass – Mr Muscle Window and Glass Cleaner (best used with high quality, dry microfiber clothes!)
  • Oven – Grease Maximum Oven Cleaner (let it sit for some minutes and do the hard work for you)
  • Marble surfaces – HG Natural Stone Worktop Cleaner (pH neutral is a must!)
  • Composite surfaces – Furniture Clinic Surface Cleaner (non abrasive)

How to remove hard water stains

Problem: Hard water stains create a dull appearance of a surface. This is due to an accumulation of calcium and magnesium.

Solution: spray Clover Lance Limescale Remover, leave to dry for 10-15 mins then, using a microfibre cloth, wipe dry.

What we think makes a bad cleaner

  • Unreliable
  • Poor communication
  • Refuses to clean beneath or behind surfaces
  • Using the wrong product for the wrong surface!

How to remove stains from your carpet

To properly restore a carpet, you need to make it pH netural. To achieve this, use alkaline cleaners for organic based stains (oils, proteins or every day dirts) and acidic cleaners for mineral stains (rust, hard water or beverages).

The benefits of eco-friendly cleaning products

  • Say goodbye to inhaling harsh chemicals!
  • Safer from children and pets.
  • Gentler on surfaces; reducing the likelihood of damage.
  • Reduced plastic in our environment

The best pet friendly cleaning products

  • Lot & Kind Plant based All-purpose cleaner or Ecover Multi-Action All-Purpose cleaner
    • Great for a generic all-purpose/surface cleaning keeping harsh chemicals away from your furry friends!
